Miranda Hill, PhD, MPH
Miranda Hill (she/her) is a social and behavioral scientist and dedicated champion for addressing the unmet support needs of women and other medically underserved populations in HIV, sexual, and reproductive health.
Dr. Hill's research agenda aims to drive transdisciplinary innovation in social medicine through community-led, culturally relevant, and empirically informed approaches. She uses a community-engaged social network lens to explore the complexities between systems, networks, and HIV among cisgender women and transgender populations. Her most recent line of research has centered on examining the intersectional contexts of HIV risk and service (dis)engagement among migrant women, with the goal of developing strengths-based interventions.
Dr. Hill is also committed to the long-term goal of advancing career development pathways among traditionally excluded and underrepresented populations in public health and medicine through research, peer support, and mentorship.
