Rebecca Griffin
Rebecca is the Communications & Advocacy Director for the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health. She works with Bixby members to promote their work and influence policy and public debate, gaining media attention and op-ed placements in outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times. She provides strategic guidance and training in advocacy and communications, including running the Bixby Advocacy and Communications Fellowship.
Rebecca came to the Bixby Center with 15 years of experience in communications, federal and state advocacy, and grassroots organizing. She previously served as Associate Director, California Programs, for NARAL Pro-Choice America, spearheading campaigns to pass pro-active legislation, including the Reproductive FACT Act—the nation’s first statewide law to mitigate the impact of anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers. She is proud to serve as a board member and practical support volunteer for ACCESS Reproductive Justice
