Kimberly Baltzell, RN, PhD, MS

Adjunct Professor
N_FHCN-Operations

My work focuses on vulnerable populations, both in the US and in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently I lead a project called Global Action in Nursing (GAIN) to promote nursing leadership and clinical skill development in Africa. Clinical content of the GAIN project is led by in-country partners and may include maternal neonatal health, cancer risk, and other NCDs. In addition, I am a member of the Institute for Global Health Sciences Director's Executive Team where I work closely with leadership to establish core faculty support and quality of care in LMICs. I am also affiliated with the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health and the Global Cancer Program.
