Dr. Josephine Urbina is a clinician-educator in the San Francisco General Hospital Division of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Dr. Urbina is the Director of Gynecology and Gyn Surgery and also co-directs the Gender Inclusive clinic at SF General’s Obstetrics, Midwifery and Gynecology clinic. She is also the newest Director of the Undergraduate Research Internship (URI) program. She’s passionate about normalizing abortion care within the Latine community, amplifying Latine representation in Family Planning and Ob/gyn, language justice and culturally concordant care.
