Annual Report 2014-2015 > Adolescent sexual health

The Bixby Center is investigating effective teen pregnancy prevention and sexual health programs globally, touching on a spectrum of issues affecting adolescent reproductive health and pregnancy prevention. Here are some of our noteworthy achievements in adolescent sexual health over the past year:
  • We provide training, technical assistance and evaluation to ensure California’s teen comprehensive sex education programs are based on scientific evidence, and are taught consistently.
  • We work with the World Bank and other international organizations to include adolescent health perspectives in their work, particularly the impact of early marriage on young women’s health and development.
