Mary De La Roca
Financial Manager, Bixby Center Business Unit
Ms. De La Roca manages federal and private grants and state contracts for the California Prevention Training Center, San Francisco General Clinical Trials Group, Ryan Residency Training and Fellowship in Family Planning Program, Innovating Education in Reproductive Health, and the Contraceptive Clinical Trials Network. She is responsible for oversight of both pre- and post-award services and develops and submits the Bixby Center’s yearly PLUS planning for the Dean’s Office. Mary has worked for the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), for 24 years. She spent the first five years at the UCSF Foundation in the Annual Giving group working for the Chancellor’s Associates and the School of Medicine. She then worked at a UCSF-funded Barrier Study Grant at Planned Parenthood for three years. She has worked at the Bixby Center since 1999 and has seen it grow into the amazing organization that it is today. She feels fortunate to be a part of the Bixby Center.
