Jayne Lewis-Kulzer, MPH, is the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Project Director for multiple NIH-funded research studies: Owete, a study using a social network approach to improve HIV prevention and treatment linkage and uptake among fisherman in Siaya County, Kenya; A4A, a randomized controlled trial working to improve adolescent and young adult engagement in HIV care in Kisumu County, Kenya; and IeDEA, a collaboration with Indiana University focused on analysis of population-based HIV clinical data from East Africa and implementation of behavioral cohort studies in Kisumu County. Previously, she was the Deputy Director of Programs for the Family AIDS Care and Education Services (FACES), a long-standing US PEPFAR-funded program that partnered with local Ministry of Health to build capacity for quality HIV service delivery in Kisumu County. She has extensive experience in grant development, implementation science research management, fiscal oversight, and building collaborative partnerships with donors, local government, and academic institutions for optimal research implementation.
