Biosketch:

Grace Shih received her medical training from the University of Florida and completed her family medicine residency at Brown University. She is currently in her first year as a joint fellow in Family & Community Medicine and Family Planning. Her research is focused on understanding the barriers to vasectomy in minority populations, contraceptive use among substance abusers and psychiatric patients, and decreasing the incidence of unsafe abortion worldwide.

Areas of Interest:

• Utilization of vasectomy in minority populations
• Contraceptive use in psychiatric patients
• Reducing unsafe abortion
