Biosketch:

Nerys Benfield is a first year Fellow in Family Planning at UCSF. She completed her medical school training and residency at UCSF, and has always had a strong interest in family planning and contraception. Nerys' research is looking at contraceptive and fertility desires in genital fistula patients in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She has also worked in reproductive health in Guatemala and has an interest in contraception worldwide.
