Results from “The Bayview Networks Study”: A Longitudinal Study of Adolescent’s Sexual Networks and Disease Transmission in Bayview Hunter’s Point

Dr. Ellen will be presenting the results from his collaboration with Nancy Padian, PhD, on their R01 entitled, "The Bayview Networks Study". The study used a household sample of African-American adolescents and then employed snowball sampling of social friends and sex partners to obtain their overall sample. Subjects were interviewed and tested for STIs over 12 months.
