California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center Course

 

Do you need to do vaginal wet mounts in your clinical practice, but feel that you would benefit from further refinement  of your skills? Then this course is for you!

 

 

Examination & Interpretation of vaginal wet mounts is a small-group, 3-hour training on applicable issues of CLIA regulation, quality & infection control, interpretations of vaginal wet mounts (VWM) & application to diagnosis of vaginitis. This is an experiential (“hands-on”) training, with substantial time spent as a lab practicum on examination of saline & KOH VWM. Participants will have ample opportunity for practice, 1:1 with instructors, and return demonstrations.
